"hungry" - AEMIL[1]
AEMIL (/eɪmɪl/, AY-mil) is one of the main characters of Doughbyte. He is a green Llokin that appears in multiple records. While his influence on the story is ultimately not that high, he is connected to many influential characters in the story.
Working for Food
AEMIL seems to be handy when it comes to manual labor, because he has worked as a surveyor for the Vetteswoods canopy, and as a farmhand with VETTE's own groundskeepers.[2] He seems to be knowledgeable in several types of plants and foods, and is very skilled at cooking.[3] He is also very kind, but can tend to not be aware of the affect his words have on people.[4] Ultimately, he is a caring soul that can be clueless at times.
Relationships
AEMIL is apparently in some form of wedlock with LOXXE[5][6][7], and it's not clear how long they have been together. He is very close to her, and they compliment each other. According to AEMIL himself, he was originally with SILLH, but she didn't trust anyone closely enough to be with them long term.[8]
However, SILLH did trust AEMIL enough to show him the Tablet that she had found in the Rockthorn Mine, and its magical properties.[9][10] It appears that she regretted this decision, as AEMIL never got an opportunity to see the artifact again.[11]
After LOXXE's Suicide Attempt[12] in which she ran away from AEMIL to Rockthorn, she was found by a detachment of Chevrin crusaders, and turned over to WARES. The Chevrin were under the assumption that she was vengeful against her kind, but she had no one to hate but herself.[13] AEMIL began a journey to find LOXXE, and has not found her yet in the story.[14] However, there is an art on the website that implies he does in fact find her.[15]
Trivia
Considering that Llokin may be potentially red/green colorblind, and AEMIL's green scales, it is possible that he blends right into the red foliage of Vetteswoods from a Llokin's perspective.
