Lucky is the third record in chapter II.
Synopsis
CASEI laments over the fact that her only friend, ZEHAL, is slowly succumbing to an infection that he has. She also talks about the gods of the focus.
ZEHAL
ZEHAL is a Llokin that has somehow found a way to live with a Chevrin, despite the impossibility of such a situation. Because of his worsening condition due to his infection, CASEI tries moving him to various places, such as outside in the cold. These attempts eventually seem to turn out to be futile. ZEHAL tells CASEI about the pantheon of the gods that the Llokin worship, and a little bit about their creation mythology, and she is convinced that the Llokin gods are worth worshipping. It is important to note that Chevrin mythology claims that Llokin are demons, and that their existence is suffering. However, ZEHAL's stories show CASEI that life as a Llokin is actually not so bad, and is even enjoyable. She decides that the Llokin are not demons, after all.
