AURAK is a Chevrin that arguably started off the chain of events that drives 265404's story. He is the king of The Church, and spearheads their quest to fill the Glaciercreek Reservoir with Llokin blood.

King of the Chevrin

AURAK's main job was to lead the church to prosperity, under the will of NYXEM. He would regularly venture out into the glacial wastes that lie beyond The Terminator, and look for artifacts from NYXEM. These expeditions seem both dangerous and foolish, but the philosophy of the Church is that no reward can be gained without suffering and detraction in turn. CASEI was often a companion during these trips into the darkness, but after many fruitless attempts and near-death incidents, she stopped. Presumably, this is around the time where she left the Church as well. AURAK would continue to make these journeys alone.

When he isn't out on an expedition, he sees to the Church's various proceedings and meets with his advisors to make sure everything is running at maximum efficiency. This role becomes even more important after his goal to fill the Glaciercreek Reservoir was commenced.

As the king of the Church, AURAK also sees to diplomacy, as sparse as it is. Apparently he would meet with the Glacierdwellers, but it's unclear to what extent his relations with them was, or how often he met them.

Death

On an otherwise normal preparation for an excursion into the glacial wastes, AURAK was murdered by MEAZS in one blow. His death sent massive reverberations through the Church's ranks; after the events that followed, MEFET became king in his place. It's unclear if MEFET has any kind of blood relation to the deceased king. It's also unclear if CASEI would have become queen if she hadn't left, or even what process decides who rules.
